I was on life’s journey,

Then I met you.

My heart had to stop here,

As I marveled in awe.

At how I could define beauty,

By simply giving you a look.

I could not retreat,

Your eyes gave me a lovely treat.

Your curves; your smiles,

To see them I’ll trek miles.

Forgive me as I take to my knees,

And to you say:

Will you be… Be my val?

I will hold you close to me every time,

Play the Poet with nights of rhyme.

With tints of rose

And the stylus of my heart,

I’ll write lullabies to welcome valentine

And tell the world a story.

With ink flowing from my pen,

Words from my mind to show:

How you make my nights sunny.

The Moon can no longer shine,

It too envies your smile.

Loving you is now my daily dose,

The reason why I’ll buy you a rose.

As I look into your eyes saying,

‘Just be… Be my Val.’
