Saturday mornings,

My favourite time to kill

I crouch in the undergrowth

Watching, waiting

Then he comes along,

Tall, muscular,handsome

My type of man

He jogs by,

His every Saturday jog

Humming his favourite song,

A routine I have come to know

I jog along

He turns,

I wave back,

Little did he know,

I let him relish it

His last Saturday jog.

  1. Beautiful poem. I won’t totally agree with u saying the end was abrupt, just say u want more… it’s the whole idea.. to make u ask for more… stay tuned 💟💟
