PERVERSION

She had eyes like tides that just pulled you in

Her breath like summer

Her touch like spring

But little did I know that sitting between her chest and her back was a heart

But beating……. Cold as the harmattan

And I should have been wiped with fear

But I said NO

I am a man so I didn’t care that I was being stupid

I knew she was a pit and I walked right into it.

Love was a crime and

She was a technician and I was a tool to just use.

I was a Christian boy who was confused and seem to have forgotten whose hands I belong to

I seem to have forgotten that

Love is God and God is love

I was a novice of the fact that if she says that

I’m in love with you she must really mean

I’m in God with you

And since God is True and we were nothing called then we were nothing……. TRUE

But I didn’t know that

You see lost is blind and I couldn’t get the picture like a spot Kodak

I put on the old me like a throwback

And it’s so wack

The way NO becomes MAYBE

And MAYBE becomes YES.

And I didn’t want to tangle with the devil

I just wanted to see her dance

And she led me by the hands

And like a pony I pranced

A lost prince in the trance

I gave in to her advance but the unhealthy relationship made me sick and even though I could love to listen to my Doctor, I listened to my Duck

And that’s how this strange woman led me down like the walls of Jericho.

He who has an ear let him listen

She’s about to tell you her version of this perversion of a LOVE STORY.
